What loans does Mepho offer?
Payday loans (short-term personal credit) and business loans. Secured lending is arranged directly with Mepho—see our loans or contact us .
How do I apply for a payday loan?
Apply online . You will need your SA ID, proof of income, and latest bank statements.
How much can I borrow?
Payday loans on this site are shown from R500 to R5 000 over 1 month. Your approved amount depends on assessment and your agreement.
How do returning clients sign in?
Use customer login for the portal. Follow the prompts on that page if you forgot your details.
How are repayments collected?
Approved loans are repaid by debit order on the date and terms in your credit agreement.
What fees and interest will I pay?
The homepage calculator shows an estimate: 5% interest per month, plus initiation and service fees. Loans from R900 use NCA-regulated fee caps. Your pre-agreement sets the final amounts.
Is Mepho a registered credit provider?
Yes. We are registered with the National Credit Regulator (NCRCP20247).
What if I am struggling to repay?
Mepho Payday Loans supports responsible lending and complies with the National Credit Act of South Africa. Consumers experiencing financial difficulty may seek assistance from a registered debt counsellor or the National Credit Regulator .
